A Bit About Design Your Own
Design Your Own ordering allows you to choose your own colour & hardware combination in any of our available styles. The DYO section also offers sizes that are outside of the range we offer in the Premade Collection for those dogs who may be bigger or smaller than our standard range.
Is There an Additional Cost to DYO?
No! The cost to build your very own DYO item is the same as what that item would cost coming out of our Premade Collection. The only difference is that there is a 20% restocking fee applicable if you choose to return/exchange the item since it has been made to order just for you!
Are DYO Items Final Sale?
Nope! We understand that sometimes we change our minds, we make a mistake measuring our dog's neck, or our dog grew more than we anticipated by the time the order arrived - for this reason, we are happy to accept returns or exchanges on DYO items within 14 days of arrival with tags attached in brand new, unworn condition. A 20% restocking fee is applicable if you choose to return/exchange the item since it has been made to order just for you!
How Long Do DYO Items Take?
Currently, the approximate turnaround time for DYO items prior to shipment is 4-5 weeks. This is just an estimate and can vary depending on supply availability, as well as how many orders are placed on release day. I do my best to estimate turnaround times as accurately as possible, but I am a one-woman-show in the workshop so sometimes items can take longer than expected. If there are any delays that will greatly impact quoted turnaround times, I will reach out to those customers who may be affected. I also post regular updates to our social media feeds regarding current DYO status and schedule, so this is the best place to check for new information!
What Are the Colour Choices?
The swatch photo below shows the current Biothane colour choices. If you would like to see the colours in person prior to ordering, swatch samples can be ordered here. **Please note: some colours may not be available in all widths at this time.
